Who doesn’t love potstickers?  They’re the “perfect” Asian snack food or appetizers!  Our Crazy Cuizine Chicken Potstickers use a thin dough, and lots of delicious filling inside (chicken, cabbage, onion, and spices).   They can be pan-fried (preferred method), deep fried, microwaved, or put into soups or on salads.  All come fully cooked – to heat, eat, and enjoy!

FILLING: Boneless Chicken, Cabbage, Onion, Contains Less than 2% of: Soy Sauce (Water, Wheat, Soybeans, Salt), Sesame Seed Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Salt, Sugar, Spices, Garlic. DOUGH: Enriched Wheat Flour [(Wheat Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folid Acid), Malted Barley Flour], Water, Contains Less than 2% of: Salt, Soybean Oil, Dusted in Vegetable Starch. SAUCE: Water, Soy Sauce (Water, Wheat, Soybeans, Salt), Sugar, Vinegar (Distilled Vinegar), Salt. Contains: Soy and Wheat.

MICROWAVE:
  1. Place 6 to 8 potstickers on a microwaveable dish.
  2. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of water into dish and cover.
  3. Microwave on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, rotating dish once halfway through heating time.
  4. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
PAN-FRY:
  1. Heat fry pan with 1 to 2 Tbsp. Oil on HIGH heat.
  2. Place 6 to 8 potstickers into pan, lower heat to medium high and fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Add 1/4 to 1/3 cup water into pan and cover.
  4. Steam potstickers for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
DEEP-FRY:
In hot oil (350 degrees F), cook frozen or thawed potstickers for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. *Please use caution when frying as water or ice on potstickers will cause popping in the hot oil.
SOUP:
Add frozen potstickers to any boiling soup or broth and cook for 3 minutes or until tender.

Shanghai Dumpling Soup

Ingredients:

1 Box 20 oz Crazy Cuizine® Chicken Potstickers

Shanghai Broth
20 gm Olive oil, extra virgin164 gm Pork belly, 1” diced
2244 gm Water
36 gm Chicken base, Ventura Foods
31 gm Vegetable base, Ventura Foods
95 gm Green onions, chopped (white parts only)
14 gm Ginger, minced, Christopher Ranch
8 gm Garlic, minced, in oil, Christopher Ranch
80 gm Shiitake mushroom, fresh, sliced
20 gm Shaoxing rice wine
16 gm Black vinegar
1.5 gm White pepper, ground
10 gm Roasted sesame seed oil, Ajinomoto



Directions:
  1. Preheat large stockpot. Add olive oil.
  2. Add pork belly and brown.
  3. Add water all the way through white pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer for 10–15 minutes
  5. Remove from heat, chill below 40°F.
  6. Place in Cambro, cover and keep refrigerated until ready for use.

YIELD: 1 ½ gallons
